TVET Authority today entered into an MoU with Edukans, an international organization with programs in basic education and youth employability.
Speaking during a meeting held at the Authority’s Boardroom, the Director General TVETA Dr Kipkirui Langat said the two organizations will work on joint fundraising initiatives, knowledge sharing and come up with interventions supporting training in Vocational Training Centres (VTCs).
“We will come up with a roadmap on how to roll out the programmes and later bring on board other partners like the Council of Governors and the Kenya School of TVET to capacity build of the trainers.
Edukans Country Director Ms Mary Mugo said they are looking forward to collaborating with the Authority in the Implementation of life skills program and exchange programs for trainers in TVET institutions across the country.
“We consider this a valuable collaboration with further opportunities to respond to various gaps in enhancing employability for the youths.
