TVET Authority Board and Senior Management team are today holding a special Board meeting to discuss the report on the outcome of a consultative meeting of Chairpersons and CEOs of public entities held on 13th May 2023.
During the meeting, Chairpersons and CEOs were briefed on their respective roles as relates to the government’s anti-corruption ideals and expectations. The agencies were then tasked to cascade the expectations to the rest of the staff members and also develop the necessary interventions to secure the enforcement of their implementation.
In her opening remarks, TVETA chairperson Dr Florence Indede thanked the management team for the support it has rendered to the Board to carry its oversight role and for complying with government directives.
TVETA Director General Dr Kipkirui Langat also appreciated the support of the Board and the cordial relationship with management that has propelled the Authority to greater heights and in ensuring that Kenyan youth access quality training.
The DG also reiterated that the Authority will comply with all the government directives and will take the lead in onboarding all the services on the E-Citizen portal.
